The Walk to Cure Cancer is dedicated to raising funds to support the research that will save lives. As public relations manager, it is my job to make the press aware of your stories that celebrate cancer survivors and remember loved ones lost. Your stories touch hearts and raise awareness of the need to raise funds to eliminate cancer.
This year, we are celebrating our tenth anniversary, we especially want to celebrate in the press, the many success stories in the battle against cancer within the academic medical center at UMass Memorial. If you were treated for cancer at UMass or have been walking for 10 years and have a cancer story to tell, I want to hear it.
